By accessing or using CardIndex ("the Service"), including the CardIndex website, iOS application, and any related software or services operated by Kantei Technologies, Inc.("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
CardIndex is a card pricing and cataloging platform that aggregates market data from third-party sources. The Service provides pricing information, collection management tools, portfolio tracking, AI-assisted card identification, and AI-assisted grading estimates for trading cards including Pokemon, sports cards, and other collectible card categories.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as needed. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
CardIndex offers an optional paid subscription tier ("CardIndex Pro") that unlocks additional features including unlimited card scans, an expanded monthly quota of AI grading analyses, extended price history timeframes, and unlimited inventory exports.
Subscription options and pricing (USD):
Prices in local currency and any applicable taxes are shown in the App Store purchase sheet at the time of purchase.
Auto-renewal. Your CardIndex Pro subscription automatically renews at the same price and duration at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iOS). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until that date. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly for App Store purchases.
Free features. Core CardIndex functionality — browsing cards, viewing recent pricing, creating a free-tier collection — remains available without a subscription. Free-tier usage limits are disclosed inside the app before any paid feature is offered.
The AI Grading Analysis feature provides an estimated grade for a card based on photos you take with your device. Grades are estimates only, not official grades. Accuracy depends on your camera, lighting, framing, and image quality, and the feature can produce false positives or inaccurate estimates.
CardIndex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, or any other professional grading company. An AI-estimated grade does not guarantee the grade a professional grading company would assign to the same card. Do not rely on AI-estimated grades when buying, selling, insuring, or submitting cards for professional grading.
All pricing data displayed on CardIndex is aggregated from third-party marketplaces and public sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing information.
Pricing data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any card. You should independently verify pricing before making any purchase or sale decisions.
The CardIndex platform, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by CardIndex. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Trading card images, names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners (e.g., The Pokemon Company, Topps, Panini, Upper Deck). CardIndex does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. Any active subscription must be canceled separately through your Apple ID as described in Section 5.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CardIndex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses resulting from reliance on pricing data or AI-estimated grades.
If you access the Service through the iOS application downloaded from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Kantei Technologies, Inc., and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Your use of the iOS application is also governed by the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and that agreement, the standard EULA controls with respect to your use of the iOS application. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
